This blade has a full bo hi which contributes to the excellent balance and light weight of this katana. The hand painted black lacquered wood saya features a genuine mother of pearl inlay depicting a bamboo scene. The tsuka (handle) is double pegged and wrapped in brown cotton and genuine rayskin.
